Lasting Power of Attorney
In addition, we help you protect your own interests in the event your mental capacity is lost by helping you draft a lasting power of attorney whereby someone you trust would be empowered to make decisions on your behalf. In the event a family member loses his or her mental capacity, we can help you apply to Court for the appointment of a deputy under the Mental Capacity Act (Cap. 177A) to look after his or her affairs.
